Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Meeting with potential customers.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with existing and future clients.
• Measuring potential jobs to determine price and planning.
• Creating proposals.
• Following up with customers during sales process
• Creating detailed work orders for field crews.

Skills:

• Prior asphalt sales is a plus but not necessary.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively with a wide range of people, teams, managers, supervisors, and vendors.
• Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Understanding of business technology
• Must demonstrate critical thinking, problem- solving and organizational and time management skills.
• Must be able to work well with others in a team approach.
• Must have a valid and clean driver’s license

Required education:

• High school or equivalent

Required experience:

• Asphalt Sales experience preferred but not necessary: 1 year

Required license or certification:

• Valid and Clean Drivers License

• Required to work in a team environment with other co-workers and managers
• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task
• Properly follow all company policies and OSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment
• Follow directions of manager as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or job site
• Assist construction, grade and paving crew by operating equipment, but not limited to operating
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently
• Fuel and grease equipment daily
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Applicants must have experience and be able to work in the U.S.
• Pass a drug screen
• Valid driver’s license
